The mint family is probably one of the most widely used in
the world - in sweets, toothpaste, chewing gum, drinks, cosmetics and
even cleaning products. Its culinary uses are wide ranging too, as it’s
one of the few herbs which can easily be transferred from savoury to sweet
- where would lamb be without mint sauce, or a meze platter without tzaziki
yoghurt dip? Even added to ice cream and sorbets for a summer treat it
is simply wonderful. |
