Employing around 28 skilled local people, Chat Moss Herbs
has been steadily growing since we were established in 1991
– in both size and reputation. After all, the experience
we’ve gained during this time is more than evident
in the carefully packed and cared for herbs, salad leaves,
infused oils and pestos that leave our door. Every member
of our team is trained to basic food hygiene standards and
we have a very positive approach to training, proudly achieving
Investors in People in 2004. Chat Moss Herbs has also achieved
a gold standard award for Food Hygiene Excellence, awarded
to us by Salford Environmental Health, first in 2003 and
then renewed in 2005. With a full time Food Technologist
on site, we fully reinforce our commitment to excellence,
food safety and ensuring our customers’ future quality
demands.
From 25 grams up to kilo weights, we supply our appetising
and innovative produce using a variety of carefully designed
packaging that seals in the freshness and flavour, from
trays and lids to sleeves and plastic bags. All our packaging
conforms to food grade standard and in November 2003 we
obtained BRC accreditation (British Retail Consortium A
Grade). And we can even add your own label design with logo
if requested, with same day delivery guaranteed throughout
the North West, as long as your order is received by 10am.
